DCE Jen de la Motte and her family have been an integral part of youth & family ministry at Good Shepherd Lutheran, Turlock. They have dedicated an acre of their land to outreach in the form of a softball field giving them the ability to connect with their community in a big way. Most evenings are booked with practices where teams from all over the area are hosted right in their back yard. What once was considered an unusable plot of land is now filled energy, big dreams, laughter and community.
How is God calling you to find open doors into the daily life of your consistent circles of influence? What are the tangible assets you see in your congregation that can be a blessing to your community?
