The 2024-2025 school year is getting underway at many of our Lutheran Schools over the next couple of weeks. Join in praying for the administrators, teachers, students and families as they embark on a new school year and grow in their understanding of God.
This past Sunday, Bella Vista Christian Academy (Tracy, California) recognized and prayed over their faculty and staff in worship at St Paul’s, Tracy with the year’s theme verse Hebrews 12:1-2
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
It was an exciting day on Sunday at St. Peter Lutheran Church and School in Lodi! They kicked off the new school year with a special backpack blessing and welcomed their newly commissioned ministers, Doug Molin and Sarah McDow!
