Know Before You Go...
We are looking forward to seeing you in Monterey at the All Workers Conference. Our Planning Committee and District Staff have been working hard to make this a great experience for all who are attending. Our goals and prayers are that this would be a time of spiritual renewal, professional growth, and making connections with fellow brothers and sisters in the CNH District!
Below are a few items to be aware of as you plan to attend this conference.
WIFI
You will have access to the internet in your rooms. To log in while at the Regency Conference Center, use network name: @Hyatt-Meetings Login credentials: CNH2024
Hotel Check in
Check in lines at the hotel lobby can get long on Sunday. To avoid standing in line, arrive early. If you are a World of Hyatt Member, you can check in online. This will save time, but you will still have to pick up your keys at the front desk. Our group rate includes free parking and no resort fee.
Conference Registration
Once you have checked in at the hotel, please go to the Regency Conference Center (there will be signs to help direct you) to pick up your conference materials at the CNH Registration Table, including your badge. You will need your badge during the conference, especially when you join us for the Monday night banquet or the Tuesday morning breakfast. If you are not registered but ordered an extra meal ticket, those can be picked up at the CNH Registration Table.
Conference Schedule and Maps
Here is a link to the CNH District All Workers Conference Schedule and a link to the Hyatt Property Map. We will have hard copies of the schedule and the maps at the CNH Registration Table.
Fun & Games
If you arrive early on Sunday, games will be available. The hotel also has spots on the property that have a variety of outdoor games. There is a hammock garden for those who need to take a nap! If you like to play pickleball, the hotel has a dozen pickleball courts (paddles and balls can be picked up at the CNH Registration Table or at the hotel front desk). We also are asking participants to take pictures and send them to us. Here is a link to the Photo Sharing QR Code. There will be QR Codes to upload photos also posted in the Regency Conference Center lobby. We are challenging everyone to find someone in our group you don’t know, introduce yourself, and take a selfie with them.
Restaurant Guides
To find a place to eat on Sunday night or Monday breakfast and lunch, the Hyatt has a list of Monterey Restaurant Recommendations. Even better, Josh Schmidt (pastor at Bethlehem Lutheran in Monterey) has a special list entitled Pastor Josh’s List of Monterey’s Finest Diners. Here is an accompanying Interactive Map to show where those places are located. The Hyatt Hotel also has a full restaurant, "Sea Root" (not open for lunch) and a small café. Just a little walk from the hotel at the Del Monte Golf Course is a small restaurant called the Del Monte Bar & Grill.
Sunday Night Reception
Immediately following our first general session on Sunday night, we are inviting everyone attending the conference to a hosted bar reception right next to the main ballroom. There will be beer and wine and other drinks as well as some cheese and charcuterie boards. Please be sure to join us for this fellowship opportunity.
Monday Worship Service
The most important part of this conference is our chance to worship together as God’s people. Although worship will be spread throughout the conference, our main worship service will be held on Monday at 1:45 p.m. in the Regency Ballroom. This is after lunch, so please return promptly for this service (this is a non-communion service). There will be an offering collected that will go to a local charity called I-HELP Monterey Bay (Interfaith Homeless Emergency Lodging Program).
Monday Banquet
On Monday evening, we will be hosting a dinner banquet and program where our District team will share some important information, honor jubilarians (anniversaries), and make some special presentations. You will need to show your badge or meal ticket when entering the banquet hall. The banquet hall tables are numbered. to find your seat, please note that your table number is on the front of your name badge or meal ticket. There is no particular dress code, though we encourage dressy casual for this event. NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL is allowed in the banquet ballroom.
Breakout Sessions
Along with our two keynote speakers, we have two breakout sessions (one on Monday afternoon; one on Tuesday morning) with multiple presenters. The registration packet includes the sessions you signed up for. If you cannot remember which sessions you signed up for, we will have a list at the CNH Registration Table. Here is a Breakout List and Room Location Map. All of the breakout sessions are located on the lower level of the Regency Conference Center.
Tuesday Breakfast
We are happy to host all conference registrants at a breakfast buffet in the Regency Conference Center on Tuesday morning anytime from 7:00 – 8:30 a.m. Once again, you need to show your badge or meal ticket when entering the breakfast room.

Keynote Speaker: Sarah Salzberg
Sarah lives in Los Angeles, CA with her husband (Josh), son (Hosea) and daughter (Simone), traveling from one coffee shop to another trying as many cappuccinos and croissants as she can. In addition, she has served as a planner and theological advisor for the LCMS Youth Gathering as well as a speaker for youth and women's retreats around the country. She earned her Masters in Theology from Concordia University in Irvine, but her pride and joy will always be Concordia Seward where she earned her Bachelors in Education.
