For those who send in the registration form postmarked after March 16, 2012 there is a $30.00 late charge. For those who walk-in (on-site registration) there is a charge of $50.00.

This convention is the first to be held under the new rules for electing the Synod President. There are two very important changes in this regard. First, congregations can only participate in the 2013 vote for Synod President if they elect delegates. Second, delegates will only be permitted to participate in the vote if they attend their district conventions.

This year's theme, "Following the Heart of Our Shepherd" is based on John 10. In this text, Jesus calls himself the Good Shepherd, for Israel, and for the entire world. The convention is a time to connect with brothers and sisters in Christ, address District and Synod business, and encourage each other to follow our Shepherd, in his ministry to the world.
